Now, I can not open the Desktop/ Documents/ Downloads/ Music/ Pictures graphically (neither through the Home Folder nor using Dash).
If anyone can find a solution it would be great. I am a tyro so I think I can only provide you with the outputs of commands that you ask me to run on terminal.

Otherwise I will have to just restore back to the previous snapshot in the Virtual Box.
