Status in Mudlet the MUD client: New

Bug description:
When moving over text, the cursor does not change to the I-shaped icon like it would if near other text. It also is much slower to highlight/select text than comparable text applications and mud clients.

This occurs in both Windows XP and Ubuntu 8.10 (32 bit). Attached is a video showing what I mean.

Mudlet version is latest from git as of this report, 9:08pm Eastern Wed April 22.
