Changed cursor to ibeam. Selection speed is irrelevant as this is not a
word processor. If I decide to use the display as a replacement for
qscintilla in the future, I'll upgrade selection speed. This is a
trivial. Selection speed is fast enough for making triggers and this is
the only relevant factor at the moment in my opinion.

Status in Mudlet the MUD client: Fix Released

Bug description:
When moving over text, the cursor does not change to the I-shaped icon like it would if near other text. It also is much slower to highlight/select text than comparable text applications and mud clients.

This occurs in both Windows XP and Ubuntu 8.10 (32 bit). Attached is a video showing what I mean.

Mudlet version is latest from git as of this report, 9:08pm Eastern Wed April 22.
