Re: [Bug 376107] Re: Mudlet very unstable in Ubuntu 9.04
1) There is no 2GB ram limit, the Intel stack is in the middle of a complete
rehaul. Your ram does -not- affect it. See here for what can you try:
Basically there's the "old buggy drivers" and "new, unfinished buggy ones"
right now for intel. :(
See http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1130582 or
http://www.ubuntugeek.com/intel-graphics-performance-guide-for-ubuntu-904-jaunty-users.html#more-1294
but, don't do anything with your ram, it has nothing to do with it.

Status in Mudlet the MUD client: New
Bug description:
Mudlet is very buggy in Ubuntu 9.04. There is a general half second delay between hitting enter and having the command echo in the output, and another half second before the MUD responds. When interacting heavily, there's a good two second delay for each instead of half a second, and the input line lags when typing a new command. Also during this overtaxing, the CPU will max out and the screen will dim out for a couple second once every 10-15 minutes or so. Also, an interesting note: the latency monitors on the bottom right will display something around "net: 0.100 sys 0.000" no matter how taxed or unstable Mudlet gets. These are the same kinds of numbers I was getting in Ubuntu 8.10.
Running Mudlet Beta 9 in Ubuntu 9.04.
