[Bug 373478] Re: Bold ANSI sometimes reduces font size

Yes, it's still happening after I fixed the driver problem.

And yeah, I was actually wondering myself if it was an entirely
different font altogether, like Vadi suggests. It's just hard to tell
because smaller/bigger fonts look completely different to me anyway.

It also happens if a line only starts bold, albeit less frequently than
if the entire line is bold. The entire line, even the unbolded parts
after it, will be changed until I hit the enter key. Oddly enough it has
to be a blank command; if I actually send any text to the mud, the font
won't fix itself.

Status in Mudlet the MUD client: New

Bug description:
If a line is all bold ANSI, most of the time its font size is reduced by what looks like about 2 points. It's still legible, but noticeable smaller. Hitting the enter key (and presumably refreshing the output screen) restores the correct font size.

Using Mudlet Beta 9 on Ubuntu 8.10

UPDATE: Upgraded to Ubuntu 9.04, and now the text size _increases_ instead of decreases. The rest of the bug is the same.
