Can I also my 2 eurocents worth and add the warning that even being able
to choose the language globally may not be enough for *some* people (for
as yet unquantified values of 'some'). When I get time to play on a MUD
- and that hasn't been for a few months, the server and that "MUD" world
uses American English but I'm bu***d if I'm gonna change British English
things like "*colour" in my comms with other players just to keep a
spell checker happy. Of course some players possibly aiming for
"sillynaming" may choose to use misspelt words for names and the like
and getting the name right quickly can be vital to getting a kill (or so
I'm told since I *suck* at PK...) 8-(

P.S. I really owe an "Exit Dialogue update" to the Mudlet release plan
but I've recently hit an upgrade problem that has stopped me doing much:
A recent change has stopped me using my external wide-screen monitor on
my main Laptop except as a clone of the internal LCD - blasted ancient
Intel graphics chip is not playing along with some drivers/kernel
updates and xrandr is no help when the intel i915 xorg driver refuses
work at all if I try to tell it about my set-up in xorg.conf files.

Title:
Add an option for common replacements

Status in Mudlet the MUD client:
  New

Bug description:
I've been using Outlook for a bit, and I find the 'common
replacements' feature to be fairly useful. I think we should have it
as an option, defaulting to on. What this feature does is replace
common mistakes on the fly - "teh" to "the", "[A-Z][A-Z][a-z]+" to
  "[A-Z][a-z][a-z]+" and so on.

We'd need a list of such replacements to make, so there's research to
  be done on compiling one.
