Re: [Bug 1215034] Re: save profile - less than idea behavior

Actually that is not quite correct - a comprehensive backup policy which
aims to optimise for security of data AND for non-infinite backup media
space will use a combination of differential and full backups -
balancing the ratio and frequency of each to fit the requirements. Not
everyone is using Windoze as a platform for running Mudlet - and as
someone who is using Linux platforms with journalled filesystems and an
NFS intranet* my requirements might be different from the next guy.

Just my 2 euro-cents. 8-)

* = (I ran low on space on development unit trying to compile QT 5.1 so
got some *results* "building" on a separate server exporting a NFS share
into the build machine's directory tree where the intermediate files
were held...)

Title:
save profile - less than idea behavior

Status in Mudlet the MUD client:
  New

Bug description:
Recently my windows manager crashed and it seems despite having been
running for several weeks, my latest changes to my mudlet scripts were
  not saved....

While i understand the "save profile" button solves this, it seems
rather unintuitive that mudlet does not save the profile when you are
making large changes to the triggers and such when you close the
script window or when those triggers become active at least.
