Do you mean as a tool-tip for the trigger item in the treee widget or as
part of the control that sets/initials the file dialogue to select a
sound trigger?  I thought there was a line edit in that part of the
trigger_main_area.ui file that displayed the file (though it is probably
too small to show it in its entirety.

Actually it would also be useful, layout redesign permitting, to provide
a "play" button in that area to test the sound produced  (which changes
to a "stop" one, whilst in use, to do that)...
