Title:
[Feature Request] Custom MUD profiles
Status in Mudlet:
Opinion
Bug description:
I think it'd be cool if custom MUD profiles (host, port, website,
description, and icon) could be created by users and/or MUD owners.
Simply allowing users to select an icon and enter a description would
satisfy that end.
For MUD owners, what if there was a Mudlet protocol (URI scheme), similar to the telnet protocol, but supported additional information like website, description, and icon? e.g.
mudlet://<host>:<port>?website=<website_url>&description=<description>&icon=<icon_url>
If a user has Mudlet installed, clicking on such a link would launch
Mudlet, install the profile, and connect to the MUD in a single click.
A simpler but less nifty method would be to just let people
import/export MUD profiles.
