Message #00019
META: Updated welcome message
Hi!
I've failed to remove the warning about the source code availability
when I pushed the code to Launchpad.
Also, please note the updated link to the Contributor Agreement.
We will provide the fax number and snail-mail address shortly for it to
be sent to shortly.
If anyone already has signed the SCA for a different Sun project, that
should be sufficient, but I'll investigate :)
If in doubt, please email me directly.
cheers,
-k
Here's the current text:
Welcome to the MySQL Proxy discussion list!
This list is intended to serve as the main place where discussions about
the future direction of MySQL Proxy should take place.
You are also welcome to ask general questions about Proxy usage and
share your experiences.
Foremost, however, we would like to engage in a more technical
discussion, such as the design and implementation of new features
(whether the implementor is a Sun employee or a community member).
Please note that for any patches to be accepted to the main MySQL Proxy
codebase (a.k.a. trunk), a non-Sun employee is required to follow the
steps outlined at
http://www.sun.com/software/opensource/contributor_agreement.jsp
Happy proxying!
