Can you confirm that you can play back a CD without skipping in another
application? Just to rule out a hardware problem, before we send this
bug upstream.
Can you also please confirm the latest snapshot that you have verified
this with (apt-cache policy mythmusic)?

Bug description:
Binary package hint: mythtv
When I play music from CD (normal CD, not MP3) using mythMusic, it hangs every 30 seconds and then continue playing again. Then again after 30 seconds it hangs again...

Motherboard: ASUS M3A78 EM, 780, AM2+, DDR2, mATX
Processor: AMD Phenom Triple-Core 8650, AM2+, 2,30 GHz
Case: Antec Fusion Remote Black EU + RM-200 remote (15c2:0038)
DVD drive: LG DVD+-RW DL, 22x, SATA
