Thanx. Is there anything we can do to improve the driver to meet the conditions of lcdproc?
Or can you contact the developer to let him know that there is something to fix?

1) $ lsb_release -rd

lcdproc:

3) I expected that my VFD (Futaba dm-140gink) will work with lcdproc.

4) The device was not supported by this version of lcdproc package.

I found a ppa with a working package (0.5.2-0ubuntu2pavka4) here:
http://ppa.launchpad.net/pavkamlc/ubuntu

Please activate support for dm-140 in regular package.
