Thank you for helping to improve Mythbuntu by opening this ticket.
Unfortunately the Mythbuntu team does not foresee a time when they will
be able to tackle this issue, so I am closing this ticket.  With that
being said, if someone else wants to write a patch for this, we will be
happy to help push it upstream. Please do not let that action deter you
from opening tickets on other issues that you find!

Status in “mythtv” package in Ubuntu: Won't Fix
Status in “xserver-xorg-video-openchrome” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed

Bug description:
Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-openchrome

I am trying to run mythfrontend on a VIA EPIA M1000 with a CLE266 graphics chip.
Allthough looking at Xorg.0.log everything seems to be loading in the right way (openchrome, chrome XvMC), I get an error when I try to watch mythtv content: 
    Unable to create XvMC Surface.

A similar bug that have been reported:

  I tried the patch, but it was already applied in the version of the driver I'm using ( 1:0.2.903+svn713-1ubuntu1)
