Neil or Frank, what method did you use to try to uninstall?
Have either of you tried looking over the installed packages in synaptic package manger to see if there are parts of mythtv still installed?

Status in “mythtv” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete

Bug description:
Binary package hint: mythtv

I actually uninstalled mythtv. Now everytime I do the updates I get this error.
Appears to still want to update mythtv despite it no longer being installed.
