Interesting.  I wasn't prompted to specify the location of a backend,
though it's possible that it was discovered through UPNP or something.

Is there anything I can do to capture more debugging information when
starting this up?

Bug description:
Binary package hint: mythbuntu-live-autostart

When attempting to start the Mythbuntu LiveCD Frontend from the CD, a window is presented prompting the user for a 4-digit security code.  When 'test' is clicked, this always fails.

Running the live frontend from the terminal produces the following:
