[Bug 544711] Re: Installation freezes at "Configuring Infrared Devices"

 

QA_manager:  I see the other bug has the steps you took to reproduce
this.  Could you try varying those responses?  For example, on step #2,
use a simple password, and/or try not enabling VNC  (to make sure that
part of Bug 363153 hasn't reappeared)?

Also, could you try not doing step #1 and if it succeeds, add the
service after the install completes?  If you have that bug number handy,
it would be nice to check the status of it

These are the logs for bug 543801; I couldn't get Launchpad to find it, so my only option was to create a new bug.

MythBuntu 10.04 Beta 1, installing a 'Primary Backend' only (and of course no remote control) hangs at 82%, every time I install.
