Thank you for helping to improve Mythbuntu by reporting this issue.

Unfortunately the developers do not have this equipment to reproduce the
issue, so we need to ask one or more of you, preferably someone running
auto-builds (http://www.mythbuntu.org/auto-builds), to please attach
your logs to this ticket. Logs from more than one person are welcome.

Please reproduce the issue, then use mythbuntu-log-grabber to grab the

Status in Mythbuntu, Ubuntu derivative focused upon MythTV: Incomplete

Bug description:
(oh for a better subject) kinky koala

The setup:

A less than powerful front-end, which, while capable of comfortably playing back standard-definition tv, can't keep up with high-definition. e.x., acer b202 nettop.

The sequence:

Attempt to playback a HD recording, it results (as expected) with choppy playback as frames are discarded.
Then attempt to playback an SD recording, now it to gets choppy playback (prior to playing the HD the standard definition recording played back just fine).

A workaround (and perhaps a hint as to where the problem is) is to re-login which has the effect of causing the xserver to restart.

More details:

I've reproduced this on two machines:

- Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU N270 @ 1.60GHz
Intel Corporation Mobile 945GME Express Integrated Graphics Controller rev 3

- Intel(R) Pentium(R) M processor 1.10GHz
Intel Corporation Mobile 915GM/GMS/910GML Express Graphics Controller rev 3
