[Bug 565318] Re: freeze at logon
This is an issue with the driver or some other kernel issue, so I'm
moving this to the linux package.
** Package changed: linux-firmware-nonfree (Ubuntu) => linux (Ubuntu)

Bug description:
Binary package hint: linux-firmware-nonfree
Hi,
I've got a freeze of 30 sec at logon on karmic and lucid, which is caused by my tuner card :

[ 52.430016] tda1004x: found firmware revision 20 -- ok
I've got the package linux-firmware-nonfree to have the good firmware, but at boot you can see the card is waiting during 30 sec, and freeze my computer during this time.
The card is a avermedia super 007 hybrid based on philipps chipset saa7134.
