I have a fresh installation of Ubuntu 10.04 and am trying to run the mythtv backend setup for 0.23 mythtv. 
It looks to me as though this is the problem I am having too.
If I can contribute please let me know, although I am only a beginner (not a complete newbie) so will need guidance.

Bug description:
After performing the upgrade to 10.04 I no longer was able to access mythtv. whenever I try running setup the results tell me there is no connection to mysql database or upnp. I cant seem to see any posts since the relase just like this.
