[Bug 611339] Re: cannot play dvd: AFD error

Hi, I too am unable to play DVDs in MythTV. Have tried Sex and the City
boxset 1 and also a UK documentary by Ray Mears that is known not to be
region specific.

I installed from Mythbuntu 10.04 and running dpkg -l mythtv-frontend
gives

paul@pvr:/var/log/mythtv$ dpkg -l mythtv-frontend

Using mythtv 0.23.0+fixes25423-0ubuntu0+mythbuntu2

Description:	Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS
Release:	10.04

I can play the dvd fine with VLC.

The bug looks similar to me to #566003. I decided to open a new one because the error messages look different. Please mark it as duplicate if it is the same bug.
