The crash I posted is 658589; although I think it may be important
to note that the original exit (crash?) from X did not trigger apport,
only the second.

Status in Mythbuntu, Ubuntu derivative focused upon MythTV: Incomplete
Bug description:
I just installed a fresh copy of Mythbuntu 10.10 on my Zotac Zbox as a frontend only machine. Any attempt to run a recorded video from my 10.4 backend (updated to 23.1) causes X to crash and GDM to present me with a fresh login. This system appears to work fine with 10.4. Any suggestions for further diagnosis would be appreciated.
