Title:
after downloading a lot of recordings from mythweb, RAM consumption is
  very high on server

Status in Mythbuntu, Ubuntu derivative focused upon MythTV:
  New

Bug description:
After downloading 200 recordings (via DownloadHelper) from mythweb, the RAM usage is massively higher than before.
  I ll attach a screenshot of gnome-system-monitor.
there you can see, that "apache" is running 10x.

  Before: 700 MiB
  After: 2,5 GiB

  sudo service apache2 restart
reduces RAM back to 700 MiB

I am running mythv from mythtbuntu/0.24 PPA
