I honestly do not know that much about Linux or Ubuntu, I installed it
on a friends' suggestion. So far I haven't had a problem with it and
love it. It's just the Mythexport. If you could tell me how to verify if
it is running, then I could start with that.

Looks like it is failing because it can not connect to MySQL did you
verify it is running?
