Marking incomplete as releases prior to 10.04 are no longer supported.
Could someone confirm if this issue is still present in MythTV on a
supported release?

Title:
  Mythbuntu 9.04 amd64 - ivtv0: All encoder MPG stream buffers are full.
  Dropping data.

Status in Mythbuntu, Ubuntu derivative focused upon MythTV:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  After upgrading to Ubuntu Jaunty 9.04 (with Mythbuntu 9.04 installed)
  from 8.10, all subsequent video recordings are broken to the point of
  being totally unwatchable. The system has 8GB ram, dualcore AMD CPU
  and two Hauppauge PVR-150 TV tuners.

  The same functionality worked flawlessly on 8.10.
