[Bug 671875] Re: mythtv-setup 0.24 installs all capture cards in duplicate

I'm going to remark this one invalid. I can't reproduce it here and as
I've stated, upstream says it looks exactly like multirec.

I'll change this bug status again only if

A) You can give me exact steps to reproduce this issue AND I (or someone else) am able to reproduce it and verify it is a bug
or
B) You can provide screenshots of mythtv-setup screens that show a single card setup with multirec disabled while the issue is present on your system.

** Changed in: mythtv (Ubuntu)
       Status: New => Invalid

Title:
mythtv-setup 0.24 installs all capture cards in duplicate

Status in “mythtv” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: mythtv

using ppa:mythbuntu/0.24 I upgraded to mythtv 0.24 and notices that
all capture cards were installed in duplicate. When I could not get
rid of it, I did a fresh install of all mythtv and mysql (after
purging all installed programs, and after manual deletion of all
remaining database and config files ). The error remains after this
  new install.

While the mythtv-setup program itself shows only a single card, the
database has that same card in duplicate, as can be seen in the
  attached screen capture from phpmyadmin.

Likewise, a single cardinput bound to the only visible card within
mythtv-setup is duplicated also, as seen in the second phpmyadmin
  screenshot.
