[Bug 994532] Re: Analog tuner is not working with MythTV
** Description changed:
Hello, this is my first time ever reporting a bug so please go easy on
me. The problem has existed for awhile but not wanting to report a bug
has had me just revert back to my old install.
I installed Mythbuntu 12.04 on a formatted HDD. Upon backend setup it
will complete a channel scan without finding any channels. I have
- manually added a known good channel to complete setup. When trying to
- open a Live TV session a pop-up is displayed very briefly that says
- "Please wait" and then goes back to the main screen. I have had this
- similar issue on all past upgrades from Mythbuntu 10.10, however,
- Mythbuntu 10.10 works perfectly with my card. On previous upgrades the
- warning was something about a ring buffer, which seems to refer to HD
- Digital cards; I am using an analog card.
+ manually added a known good channel to complete setup.
Note: The card works fine with TV Time and VLC without any tweaking. I
have added the weekly build repo from the MCC and have the latest build
- installed. I have a ubuntuforum post at
- http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1971033 but no soloution and no
- activity for the past day. My latest log is found at
- http://pastebin.com/1a3dDjxG.
+ installed.
