  Just installing some initial packages, system history:
  - fresh install of 10.04lts, no extra packages
  - updated-manager updated the system
  - than ran 'update-manager -d' to get the 12.04lts option
  - upgraded to 12.04lts
  - now installing xfce, xubuntu, mythtv & xbmc
