[Bug 1040188] Re: Mythbuntu theme recorded program genre scrolling needlessly
We've removed all of the scrolling in the latest commit, but it hasn't
been released yet. I'd imagine it will be resolved by tomorrow in
version 25.21

Title:
Mythbuntu theme recorded program genre scrolling needlessly
Status in Mythbuntu, Ubuntu derivative focused upon MythTV:
Fix Committed
Bug description:
Since the recent update to 25.20, I've encountered a very minor
cosmetic bug. When viewing a program in Recorded Programs, the
program's genre is now displayed next to the description. If the genre
is too long, it scrolls horizontally, automatically.
The problem is that it shouldn't be scrolling when the genre is
something really short like "Talk". This is what I get for Colbert
Report and Daily Show, for instance (from Schedules Direct).
Is it possible that the genre is stored somewhere with trailing
spaces? That would explain the behavior. It doesn't seem to happen
with any other short genres. Perhaps there is some way you can trim
the genre before displaying it in the theme?
