I see that a patch has been applied and some work around to get this
device working with Linux Kernels greater than 3.2. Is it possible to
get detailed instructions on how to apply this.

  Freezes Kaffeine and Freezes Desktop  May need to reboot system for
  kaffeine to connect device.

  Using Kernel greater than 3.2

  Current system:

  System 76 Bonobo Extreme
  8gig of ram
  i-core 7 4800MQ X4
  Kernel  3.12.0-7-generic

  This is confirmed using numerous live distributions of different linux
  systems.
