Public bug reported:

I have installed Mythbuntu 16.04 on two different machines and have
experience this issue on both; Wired Ethernet is not working after
installation.  A workaround I have found was to edit
/etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf and change managed to true (it
was set to false).
