This bug is obsoleted by the new 0.9.4 version which doos not build
rebuild lirc in any case.

If you are still interested in this bug please let us know. Otherwise,

Title:
  Dell Branded Philips Remote Not Working

Status in lirc package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: lirc

  Dell Branded Philips Remote was not working in Ubuntu, following the
  guide at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/LIRC I got it working,
  however I have no idea how to submit a patch as instructed, and the
  page says to submit a bug report.

  lsusb shows it as ID 0471:2093 Philips

  Directions on help page indicate module is at
  /usr/src/lirc-*/lirc_mceusb2 , however on my system it was at
  /usr/src/lirc-0.8.6/drivers/lirc_mceusb with file lirc_mceusb.c

  Let me know if I should send anything further.
