Thanks Pixel... I'm bouncing between Unity and Gnome-Shell, unsure which
I'd like to keep as my default and this was almost a deal-breaker. Nice

  Any changes made in MyUnity do not persist between sessions; for
  example, if I change the default panel setting from "Hidden" to "Avoid
  windows," that setting is reset to "Hidden" the next time I login.
