Marco, I just reread the whole thread, and I noticed you said you have
installed "gambas2 and gambas3 daily upgraded from svn". Please, would
you try to run myunity with gambas taken from ubuntu archive?

  All works (i can see the images: icons, logos and related and i can run myunity) if i download the deb-source 

  sudo apt-get source myunity
  sudo tar xvzf myunity_3.1.1.orig.tar.gz
  sudo chown -R $USER.$USER  myunity_3.1.1

  and i load recompile and run myunity from gambas2...
