[Bug 999767] Re: MyUnity should not have an icon inside System Settings
OK, I got your point.
I agree with you that adding the vertical scroll is a bit ugly, and that MyUnity can be easily reached through the dash. Anyway, MyUnity is not the only application that add an icon to the control center (any app could show there easily, and many do already), so removing MyUnity from system settings wouldn't prevent other application to break it. Unless upstream MyUnity developers decide to change it, I wouldn't like to patch the software to avoid this behavior.
Therefore, I'm closing this bug as Won't Fix.
