Are there any plans to go from Nagios Core 3 to Nagios Core 4?

It appears Nagios Core 3 has been End-of-Life for almost a decade:

Nagios Core 4 hasn't had updates in a couple years, which isn't great
either but its considerably better for passing enterprise level security
requirements:
