[Bug 494626] Re: RevAger does not offer a stable version anymore!

Vikram just answered: "You could write that in the description of your project, or make an
announcement saying that 1.2rc is the release candidate and 1.1 is the
stable version"

I've just updated our project description.

But besides that, we can discuss the following approach: We only release
the stable versions (1.1, 1.2, ...) on Launchpad. The unstable versions
like 'beta' or 'rc' we only release internally inside an independent
branch like https://code.launchpad.net/~neos/+junk/development-files and
make an announcement on our project page including a 'direct download
link' to the jar file inside the repository. What do you think about
this approach? I think this is a good compromise.

Status in RevAger: Fix Committed

Bug description:
Currently, the Team Neos homepage does not link to the old sourceforge site anymore. Instead, the latest 1.2rc (r19) version of RevAger is offered. Actually this version has not undergone extensive release testing and is still work-in-progress. Therefore I would highly recommend to continue offering the old 1.1 version of RevAger as the recommended download, but offer version 1.2rc only as an alternative.
