Perhaps if after a space following NewDocs/Contributing it could read -
A Page of Helpful and interesting Links "Helpful Links"
The NewDocs/Contributing page would as a result have one less link.
I think that a good solution, both aesthetically and in terms of the
context, would be to add it after the present string in the Most popular
pages.
Something like this:

This page and the sibling pages serve as an alphabetical list of the most

use the links above.
(a space to insert between the strings)
