Okay, those who have responded agree.. the standard going forward will
be single purpose methods which do one task each. Methods which take a
type or action code should be avoided unless it can be shown there is a
clear advantage to that design for a specific case. Coders presenting
such cases for review should be prepared to support their design with
solid reasons, including metrics data where appropriate.
