[Bug 279933] Re: sbackup backs up even if device is not present

 

I can't reproduce this on ubuntu intrepid. I backup also to a usb hard
drive and if it isn't connected sbackup does not write to the directory.
I gwet then the follwoing error:

/etc/cron.hourly/sbackup:
E: Target directory is not writable - please test in simple-config-gnome!
run-parts: /etc/cron.hourly/sbackup exited with return code 1

Does the mountpoint of your usb drive exist also if it isn't connected?
