[Bug 613746] Re: command line control on full - incremental backup

I've implemented a commandline option `--full` that can be used to force
a full backup (of all profiles that are executed). This is now in
development line and will be released soo.

A commandline option to force an incremental backup is not implemented
and I'm not quite sure it ever will.

I edit this bug to fit the wish for a commandline option to force full
backups and set it to solved. If there is really the need for a
commandline option to force incremental backups please open a new
specific bug for this and we can discuss there.

** Summary changed:

- command line control on full - incremental backup
+ Command line control on full backup is missing

** Description changed:

  As reported in this conversation:
  https://answers.launchpad.net/nssbackup/+question/112940

- command line options to specify to do a full backup or an incremental backup
- It would be useful if you need to perform specific operations before backup that are different in the two cases
+ command line options to specify to do a full backup is missing.
+ It would be useful if you need to perform specific operations before backup that are different in the case of full backups.

  Also cfr. this blueprint:
  https://blueprints.launchpad.net/nssbackup/+spec/commandline-interface

Main functionality should be available through proper commandline interface. Useful commandline options are:
  * force a full backup
- * force an incremental backup (needs definition of behavior in case of errors, i.e. no incr. backup possible)

  Verified using version 0.2.1
