Question #147281 on sbackup changed:

Status: Open => Answered
Jean-Peer Lorenz proposed the following answer:
Hello Vlad,
thanks for choosing sbackup and asking this question. I suppose you use
sbackup 0.11.x? No, purge is performed only after a sucessful backup.
Purpose of this implementation is to ensure to keep at least one
sucessful backup. Consider the case of purging your old backups before
creating a new one - and this new one fails. You'd end with *no* backup
at all. In order to avoid such cases, purging is only performed after
sucessful creation of new one. So, in fact there is no way to make
scheduled backups if you don't have space for at least 2 full snapshots.
HTH,
Jean-Peer.
