[Question #159803]: how to handel duplicate files after sbackup restore operation ?
New question #159803 on sbackup:
https://answers.launchpad.net/sbackup/+question/159803
linux mint 10, 64 bit, gnome
after successfully restoring my system with sbackup ( Thank you for a great program ! )
i found a lot of duplicate OS files in my file system, they are named as:
whatever_file_name.before_restore_2011-05-26_20.11.42.910577
question:
- what is the _20.11.42.919577 mean? i assume it's backup numbering system ? explain please...
- how to safely deal with these duplicate files ? keep them for a while, observe if everything is working
and then simply search->delete???
again how to safely deal ( delete or keep ) these duplicate files ?
thanks!
