Re: [Question #182109]: Sbackup and Cron failure in XFCE
Question #182109 on sbackup changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/sbackup/+question/182109
Dragos Toader posted a new comment:
Just dbus-launch per session before calling sbackup in your cron job. No biggie.
Here is my full workaround:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
#############
# "/home/dtoader/My Documents/linux/backups/launchDbus.sh"
#############
#!/bin/bash
if test -z "$DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS" ; then
## if not found, launch a new one
eval `dbus-launch --sh-syntax --exit-with-session`
echo "D-Bus per-session daemon address is: $DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS"
fi

# "/home/dtoader/My Documents/linux/backups/sbackup500.conf"
