However, re-reading this thread, I see that your environment might not
allow you to produce
the same packages that NUnit delivers, so I'm posting a patched
installer for you at
http://nunit.org/downloads/NUnit-2.5.4.10105-dbg.msi

You'll have to uninstall our existing 2.5.4 copy to install this one.

Status in NUnit V2 Test Framework: Fix Committed

Bug description:
NUnit 2.5.4.10098, MSI Install

When running nunit-x86.exe to load a 32bit C++/CLI test dll (Built with VS2010 RC, .NET v4.0.30128) on windows 2008R2 64bit the following exception/call stack is generated.

System.NullReferenceException...

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
