[Bug 643685] Re: AppIn documentation incorrect

 

I used the Minimal addin, which is part of the NUnit samples to test
this. I built the addin and copied it to the folder containing
NUnit.exe. The addin did not appear. I copied it to the addins folder
and it appeared. I repeated this on both Windows and Linux.

If you are using an older release, it's conceivable that you may have
the behavior you describe but it does not appear to be the case with the
current code.

Bug description:
The documentation states that nunit will look in the /addins folder for addins.

It will look in its own folder prior to this and load you if you are there. If you are there it will ignore you in the addins folder.
