[Bug 1043641] Re: New text output tab doesn't display anything until NUnit is closed and re-opened
Upon examination, I found that the problem is not quite as described.
The new tab doesn't show anything at all until the NUnit gui is closed
and re-started. Then all the types display as they should and any
updates to the type of content displayed take effect immediately.
Ideally, the new tab should be used immediately, without any further
user action.
** Summary changed:
- New text output tab doesn't display anything
+ New text output tab doesn't display anything until NUnit is closed and re-opened
** Changed in: nunitv2
Status: New => Triaged
** Changed in: nunitv2
Importance: Undecided => High

Title:
New text output tab doesn't display anything until NUnit is closed and
re-opened
Status in NUnit V2 Test Framework:
Triaged
Bug description:
On the default 'text output' tab, standard/error/trace-output shows up
all fine. But when I create a new tab (settings -> text output ->
select tab -> new...), the new tab will not show any output at all
even though all checkboxes are checked.
Note: This is related to this bug
[https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1033967], and I added a comment there
before I figured that this should be a bug report on it's own.
Details: This bug relates to the NUnit GUI test runner 'nunit-x86.exe'
version 2.6.1, downloaded from nuget (NUnit.Runners.2.6.1), running on
Windows 7 64-bit.
