I can see what you mean. It is however a misunderstanding. The entry
"save options" in the menu does only work for the entries that are in
visible in the menu itself.

In my opinion this is a problem in the menu design. I am not sure what
to do about it, but I will take it up on the developers list. Thanks for
bringing this problem to attention.
