[Question #143986]: Editing wiki with nxhtml
New question #143986 on nXhtml:
https://answers.launchpad.net/nxhtml/+question/143986
I am trying to edit files on wiki (i.e. the content of a wiki page, the wiki itself is powered by mediawiki) and it looks like nxhtml my do the job. Unfortunately I have not been able to set it up properly.
I think a good part of my problems come from the html-site-list
Right now it looks like
*** Site name ***: dummyname_to_identify_the_wiki
Site root directory: ~/localdirectory
Page list file:
Frames file:
Contents file for frames:
Output directory for pages with TOC:
Template file for pages with TOC:
Extra function for pages with TOC: Value Menu nil
Ftp host address:
Ftp user:
Ftp password:
Ftp directory root:
Ftp directory root for pages with TOC:
Web host address:
Web directory root:
Web directory root for pages with TOC:
I understand that:
1) Site name and root directory will be on my local computer to sort of mirror the remote files
2) Web host address is only used to display the webpage and not needed
However I do not have an ftp address/user/etc, since the login is normally done with the browser
Related to this, is there any way to use mozrepl to pull the wikicontent, edit locally with emacs and uploading it? It seems that it should be possible and it would be great if someone could point me in the right direction
Thanks
fabio
