I have worked around the problem by downloading the correct deb from
https://launchpad.net/~avsm/+archive/ocaml41+opam10/+build/5212804.

I am running Ubuntu 13.10

Here is the contents of my /etc/apt/sources.list

Title:
  camlp4-extra depends on non existant packages

Status in “ocaml” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  When i try to install camlp4-extra, I get the following error
