New Scripts
Hey Guys,
There have been some fixes, as well as new scripts added to our branch,
https://bazaar.launchpad.net/~oem-qa/oem-qa-tools/oem-qa-tools/files
within the past couple weeks, and I'd like to explain what some of them
are. There is also a new page for QA Automation on the wiki,
(https://wiki.canonical.com/OEMServices/QA/Testing/Automation), where we
can continue to keep track of these scripts, and request new ones.
Firstly, the ButtonTags script was fixed, and now, as far as I know,
works without a hitch. This is a very convenient script to use,
especially while verifying fixes. There were also some wiki scripts
added recently. These include WikiTrivialChange, which simply checks
the Trivial Change checkbox by default in order to reduce the wiki-spam
that subscribed people will receive. There is also WikiUpOneLevel,
which essentially puts a back button on the top and bottom of each page,
to take you up one level (i.e. from OEMServices/QA/Testing to
OEMServices/QA). This is very helpful while running tests based off the
UNR cases. (Thanks to Tom for the idea by putting links manually on his
projects).
If you have any questions or suggestions, let me know!
Thanks
Chris
